Dove Computer Corporation designed its FastNet
products to help you take advantage of the
speed, security, and broad accessibility of
Ethernet networking. The FastNet family in¬
cludes Ethernet adapters and intelligent con¬
trollers that support Macintosh® computers.
FastNet provides the Ethernet connection from
Macintosh computers to a variety of systems,
such as other Macintosh computers, DEC®, Sun®,
Prime®, UNIX®-based, and IBM®PC®. FastNet
supports AlisaTalk™, DECnet™, EtherTalk™,
PacerShare®, TOPS®, TCP/IP, and other proto¬
cols.

High-performance networking demands high-
performance connections that can support the

sional and the advanced Macintosh user. FastNet
Ethernet products let you communicate at the
high speeds required for Local Area Networks
(LANs). Dove’s FastNet products provide you

FastNet adapters launch you onto Ethernet and
give you access to a myriad of networking
protocols. With FastNet SEn, FastNet LAN 020,
FastNet SE/30s and FastNet IIIn, you get un¬
equaled system flexibility without sacrificing
the “user-friendliness” for which Macintosh is
known. Joining supported software with the
FastNet adapters lets you control network file
transfers, file access, program launching, terminal
emulation, and task-to-task transactions through
the manipulation of desktop icons.

FastNetSCSI is a desktop model, intelligent Ethernet
controller that lets any SCSI port-equipped Macintosh
computer communicate over the LAN. It supports
a variety of networking protocols and includes
installer software, a SCSI connection cable, and an
Ethernet/Cheapemet transceiver.

FastNet SEn is an Ethernet adapter that lets the
Macintosh SE communicate over the LAN. It
supports a variety of networking protocols and
includes installer software ana an Ethernet/
Cheapernet transceiver.

FastNet LAN 020 is an accelerator and Ethernet
adapter in one card. Dove combined its 16-MHz
68020 accelerator with its Ethernet adapter for the
Macintosh SE on one multifunction board. FastNet
LAN 020 options allow for a 68881 or 68882 math
coprocessor and additional RAM. It includes
installer software and an Ethernet/Cheapemet
transceiver.

FastNet SE/30s is an Ethernet adapter for the
Macintosh SE/30. Like all of Dove’s FastNet
products, it supports a variety of networking pro¬
tocols and includes installer software ana an
Ethernet/Cheapemet transceiver.

FastNet IIIn is an Ethernet adapter that lets the
Macintosh II-series computer communicate over
the LAN. It supports a variety of networking
protocols and is equipped with an onboard Ethernet/
Cheapernet transceiver.

Dove Computer Corporation also offers two stan¬
dard IEEE 802.3 Ethernet connections.
